Message :I know quite a few with just shims or 300deg "kit" that's why I'm asking. I always thought the main reason is when you lower further than .8", the amount of length needed is too much for a shim kit to be safe.

everytime I go to a road course, out comes my big stick... I adjust my suspension for substantial negative camber.

everytime I compete in an autocross, guess what... that's right, I adjust my suspension for substantial negative camber.

I write how many turns on the turnbuckle (midori) on racers tape and tape the settings on the fender.
When I complete my day/weekend of racing, I invest 15 minutes in resetting my suspension back to stock before hitting the streets.

Remember, mod for a purpose.
